Media Room Edition (2019): Ultimate Office Setup

what’s up everybody this is Danny and today I’ve teamed up with LG to show you my brand new OLED media setup tour with a little bit of a height

the best twist I’ve been working on this for a long time so I can’t wait to show this to you I wanted to keep it clean and modern but also

super comfortable and I also wanted to incorporate sneakers because I love sneakers just a little too much so here’s my setup for 2019 the heart of the setup is

the 65 inch LG c9 OLED TV this has to be one of the thinnest TVs I have ever owned the bottom has all of the components and the speaker’s

built-in but the panel itself is even thinner than my iPhone which is insane the LG c9 comes with a nice low profile metal stand and while I think

the built-in speakers are great already I wanted to take my audio to the next level giving it that theater feeling here so I went with the LG SL 10

yg soundbar it comes with this wireless subwoofer to give me that bass I need and the soundbar has to up-firing speakers to fill the room with

multidirectional sound with DTS X s and Dolby Atmos support it’s really easy to set up you can go fully wireless with these if you want which I think

is nice you don’t need a cable at all Bluetooth connection is a breeze and sounds great but you can go optical or audio return channel via HDMI if you

want as well so you have options plus it has Google Assistant built-in so by the voice I can play all my favorite music while I’m editing so this has taken

my office to the next level I love LG OLED TVs because the picture quality it’s incredible I love OLED because you get those perfect inky blacks because unlike

LCD TVs every pixel can be individually controlled so those dark scenes are fantastic the colors pop is just so vibrant it’s a joy to watch whatever on here so

whether I’m catching up on some YouTube videos or watching a movie the experience is top-notch with Dolby vision HDR 10 and Technicolor support I can watch these movies as

the filmmaker or director wanted them to be seen this is my second LG OLED and I love my last one but I think there are a few key improvements

on the 2019 models that make a huge difference to the user experience one of the first TV manufacturers to ship with HDMI 2.1 so it makes a huge difference

with gaming on consoles like the Xbox 1x it allows for variable refresh rate so it’s very similar to Nvidia g-sync or AMD free sync 12.9-millisecond input lag with a

1 millisecond response time and HDR support makes a great gaming experience on the last generation I didn’t recommend buying an OLED TV for gaming but the 2019 models

is a definite go with HDMI 2.1 it is a big deal it is the future so I’ll be talking a lot more about HDMI 2.1 in the four of

you coming up with nice features like enhanced audio return channel so if you pick one of these up you’ll be future-proofing your TV purchase so if you don’t

know I’m a huge smart home guy so having a I built into the LG c9 is very important so I get a choice of either Google Assistant or Amazon

Alexa, they are both here so I think LG is one of the first to ship with both working so after signing into Google on the TV I was able

to control the temperature in here with my smart thermostat I was able to change all of my smart lightings I was able to do all of my routines all

through this button right here on the remote one of my favorite things is just switching between apps with voice instead of searching for it I often ask to change

to Netflix or YouTube or going between that and Hulu is just so much easier to do it by voice this super fast and convenient but the soundbar

has far-field mics and Google assistant built-in so I set up a routine when I want to play the Xbox just to say one command the TV switches to HDMI

for the smart lights turned to green to match that mood and all of my blinds closed with my smart blinds to darken it up in here so I have

this place hooked up with voice commands I love the experience overall the easy to use webOS interface the remote has a pointer on it so I always find it

to be easier than most other TV interfaces you know exactly where to click the great picture qualities are given of course the built-in AI but also for Apple

fans airplay to support what that means is if you’re a Mac or iPhone user you’ll be to cast your content to the TV without any Apple TV attached and

you’ll be able to access all of your movies and everything that you purchase through Apple the TV as well so you might as well save money on that Apple

I have the Xbox one X and on the left side of the cabinet I have my Nintendo switch I have some sweet deep brand skins on it to give

it that custom look the pro controller and of course the Mario dock on the right side I have some retro consoles the NES and the Super Nintendo classic I

need to hack these up and get a ton of games on here I still haven’t done that yet the smart lighting I’m using here is the more affordable ones

LED I just did a video on these half the price or less of the bigger competitors but they work well you can see that these are multicolored I

can change the lights to whatever color I want I can control them right through the app or by the voice you just saw that working earlier they might not have

all of the features that the flagship bulbs have but they get the job done on the last tour there was a couch here but I told you I

was gonna replace it with theater seating because I wanted to give this place more of a theater or a media vibe and the problem with theater seating is most

of them don’t look very modern they’re big and bulky but I think I found the perfect ones these are by Valencia theater seating this one, in particular, is the

Zurich model a part of their premier series and these look very very modern they’re comfortable and I’m in love with them I love the slim profile they have

nice blue illuminated cupholders and kick plates which I think is a nice touch and all of the control buttons here are along the side with the USB port

which is clutch because sometimes you’ll want to be able to charge your phone while you’re watching a movie this Italian Nappa leather is nice it’s high-quality you

can feel that also can’t go wrong with this quilted diamond stitching I think this gives it a nice look luxurious I’m just gonna show you because

I’m able to relax and look at how far this goes back and the gap between this and the wall is not very far you can see how it

blinds behind me and we just keep going and going okay do I have to continue this later and also like the fact that you can move the headrest and

get that perfect position the movie experience now is elevated these seats are ago so I’m gonna do more on these on the full tour but yeah these seats

top-notch so finally the sneaker portion of the tour and I have some neons here that I think accentuate the room well the first one I have is

the Shawn Witherspoon Air Max 197 combo which I think is my favorite other two but I also have the classic Jordan one neon here which is also pretty cool

so let me know which one that you like better in the comments below this is probably only about 10% maybe even less than that of my sneaker collection I

know it’s a little crazy but I have pretty much a little off-white wall right here I mean some people like off-white some people don’t but I think the 10

the series collection is probably some of the best sneakers collapses out there so some of my favorite pairs here probably the Air Force ones here these Blazers man I love

the colorway on these are the air max 90s which that cone blue color can’t go wrong with this one I also have another pair of 90s right here

desert or some people love these more let me know which one you like better you can’t go wrong with the 97 z they’re the Mintos or the Serena

Williams which one would you pick the second portion of the wall is more of the Jordan one collection I have a lot more than these but the shadows I

think are kind of slept on the homage to home I liked as well it’s got the bread colors on one side Chicago colors on the other side with

some leather laces they look super fire, of course, you can’t forget these are also classic I know off-white probably belongs over there but I love the UNC’s

these are probably one of my favorite pairs Travis Scott fours and then I have these right here Justin Timberlake threes which are nice tinker combo one of the

coolest in the collection for sure spider-man’s bread so can’t go wrong with Jordan so if any of you can name this pair right here kudos to you and then

here are the Sean Witherspoon’s that I talked about earlier I think this is one of the best mashup combos that are out there great summer shoe and here

are some easy full reflective statics I like these I wear my regular pair static so I don’t wear these sit here because these things are worth

the fortune another pair of Yeezys right here so they always kind of rotate through the collection got some 40s right here love the way that the 40 sole

looks love how they are 3d printed BBC collection Pharrell nmds these are the plaid ones they came in green as well and then Nike react I like these

I think it’s one of the first epics reacts to come out my wife calls in the rat shoes

9 Wireless Charging (15W) vs Galaxy Note 10 Plus

what’s up everybody this is Danny and today I want to test the new 15-watt wireless charging on the galaxy note end I was able to get a hold
of the new official 15 watts wireless charger that Samsung makes it says here it’s compatible with the note 10 and the S 10 5g up to 15 watts so
I’ll test both of these in this video this charger runs about 80 US dollars so check the link below for current pricing because you’ll never know when they’ll go
on sale if you’re wondering what comes in the box you get the charger itself it’s a single stand charger, not a duo a little pricey some paperwork but you
don’t need that USBC cord and a fast-charging brick this looks like the same one that you get in a box with the note 10 plus the quality
is nice though it’s plastic with some ventilation on the bottom and a pretty large fan on the back with ventilation for cooling so this looks pretty serious to charge
the note 9 I’m using the duo charger that is 12 Watts this was introduced with the S 10 series even though it’s 12 Watts the note 9 doesn’t support
it so it shouldn’t mess with the charging times and of course the note 10 plus with the new 15-watt official charging standard after 5 minutes the note 10
plus has 3 percent charge while the note 9 has 2 percent charge very close at the takeoff I had to readjust some things to get rid of this glare
after 16 minutes I missed the 15-minute mark the note 10 plus has 13% charge and the note 9 has 8% charge after 30 minutes the note 10 plus has
29% which isn’t bad at all and the note 9 has 18% this is a little closer than I thought it would be since this isn’t quite double the speed
that I was expecting after one hour the note 10 plus has 57 percent which is good and note 9 has 39 percent which is faster than I
thought it would be after an hour and a half the note 10 plus has 84 percent charge and the note 9 has 60 percent charge so the note 10
plus taking a decent lead here and finally at the 1 hour and 54 minutes mark the note 10 plus hits 100% and the note 9 is at 77% this
is impressive considering that the note n plus has a larger 4,300 milliamp-hour battery compared to the note 9s four thousand milliamp-hour battery I’m going to charge the
galaxy s 10 5g to confirm 15-watt wireless charging while the note 9 goes to a hundred two and a half hours later the note 9 is at 97%
it’s almost there 2 hours and 43 minutes later the note 9 hits 100% so the note 10 plus with a larger battery is about 50 minutes faster almost an
hour faster so that is fantastic if you’re a wireless charging fan checking the galaxy s 10 5g it looks like 15-watt wireless charging is supported here the same amount
of time the note 10 plus takes to charge on the estimated countdown makes sense since they both have the same four thousand three hundred million power battery I
want to add in that the note 10 plus was a little bit warm during the first half of charging but cooled down towards the end the note 9 was
the same but in the end, I’m happy that wireless charging times are getting better in my last wireless charging test the iPhone tennis max took about four hours to
wirelessly charge so this is a major win so let me know in the comments are you picking one of these new 15 watt Wireless charges up for your note
10 or are you cool with the older chargers and don’t mind waiting a little longer thank you for watching link below if you want to pick one of these
up more note 10 content coming up so subscribe to the channel

iPhone XS Max Camera vs Galaxy Note 10 Plus

what’s up everybody this is Danny and today I’m doing the camera comparison between the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 as a dual camera system while Dino ten plus has

a triple camera system also with the time-of-flight sensor for dedicated depth so I am really interested to see if that actually makes a difference and I want to know

which audio source sounds better so I’m gonna switch off in between let me know in the comments which microphone pickup is better and what the front-facing camera is doing

here because the note 10 plus actually shoots in a higher resolution so it should technically look better so I’m gonna go around today I’m gonna test these cameras in

every lighting condition and let’s see which camera comes out on top let’s do this before we get started let’s talk about the testing process both of these phones were

left in pure Auto mode I feel like this represents the average consumer best of course the no 10 plus has a pro mode if you have time to play

around with the settings to get that perfect shot you can seen optimizers left on the note 10 plus since it’s on by default the only changes made to the

note 10 plus are the beauty modes they’ve all been disabled the no 10 plus has a tendency to overexpose by a stop or so this is more of a

Samsung trait that you’ll see across all of their cameras some people will probably like the brighter look on some images it looks more pleasing especially pictures of flowers or

greenery there’s more contrast there it can be more balanced samsung also leans towards the heavier saturation so some pictures can look unrealistic but this is more of a preference

thing and like any other camera comparison this does go back and forth sometimes sometimes the iPhone has the brighter and more balanced image even when it comes to plant

life I can only face these characteristics off of repetitive results in my testing the big thing that I don’t like about the overexposure in the Samsung processing is the

clipping of the highlights especially in trickier or harsh lighting conditions this can lead to a loss of detail and blowouts but props to Samsung for fixing how the scene

optimizers renders the blue sky it looks very natural and not hyper saturated like it was before so that is a huge improvement I’m not a huge selfie taker but

the note 10 plus has a wider front-facing camera I do like the balance of the skin tones better on the iPhone but better dynamic range here on the note

10 plus in this scenario the note 10 plus has a dedicated depth sensor on the back called the time-of-flight sensor and from the portrait roll pictures that I’ve tested

so far it looks like it does make a difference the edge detection is much improved and there are a few pictures where the iPhone missed and the note 10

just nailed it like this railing the iPhone totally failed here the skin tones I feel are still better on the iPhone the note 10 plus over exposes the skin

not giving a realistic rendition but big improvements to life focus mode on the note 10 plus from the previous Samsung phones light focus video is also fun to play

with it’s not perfect but it’s a cool option to have their different background blur modes so those are fun to use my favorites are the glitch and also the

color point mode the biggest advantage of the note 10 plus in my opinion is the ultra wide-angle camera on the back I love having this so much I wish

that the iPhone had this option I was just at galaxy’s edge in Hollywood studios and only with the wide-angle camera can you capture all of this especially ultra wide

video it’s exceptional in 4k check out this full video if you want to see the note 10 plus video camera in action if you like slow motion they both

have very good usable 1080p video the note 10 plus looks a little bit sharper though if you look closely if you want that super slow-motion at 960 frames per

second the no 10 plus is the way to go it doesn’t look very good but it’s really cool to have nevertheless both phones shoot up to 4k 60 frames

per second quality is insane on both of them here’s a walking sample in 4k they both have optical image stabilization

and both do a fantastic job but the note 10 plus has some of the best stabilization that I’ve seen in a while also the note 10 plus can

shoot video in HDR 10 plus if you’re integrating that footage in post production for the most dynamic range and detail when it comes to daytime image quality it’s a

toss-up it could go either way so let me know which one that you think did better let’s get to the low-light performance everyone’s favorite the note 10 plus does

have a faster aperture going down to F 1.5 compared to the iPhones F 1.8 and that should theoretically let more light in and produce brighter images and for the

most part that is but just like in daytime it comes at a cost of overexposure and highlight clipping there is a dedicated night mode and if you switch to

it it does help with dynamic range shadow detail but if you look closely the images are over sharpened where the iPhone looks more natural sometimes the night mode just

captures too much detail and it just doesn’t look good in my opinion I prefer most shots without the night mode on this neon sign they both look great but

the notes rendition is super sharp and more vibrant where the iPhone looks more like it came off of a DSLR or mirrorless camera it’s smoother and more balanced when

it comes to shadow detail a lot of people like seeing more details in the clouds so if you like that you will definitely favor the note 10 plusses camera

but in a lot of situations I like the black sky rendition better on the iPhone this is just my preference though if you edit your photos afterwards you can

always add contrast to make the sky darker but this is just straight out of the camera the more pictures that I look at the note 10 plus as HDR

seems to be really aggressive with boosting highlight and shadow detail some people want the more natural and what my eyes are seeing at the moment look and that would

be the iPhone where the note is giving you the ready to share picture right out of the camera but this wouldn’t be a camera comparison if they just don’t

go back and forth the note just does so well at brightening up the picture and sometimes nailing the overall scene but other times just looking too aggressive and the

image starts to fall apart I think the biggest disappointment at this time at launch of the note 10 plus is the 2x quality just like the iPhone when lower

lighting condition hits it switches to the main sensor instead of using the 2x and crops in but the note just looks really over sharpened and overexposed look at where

this main sensor shot looks comparable to each other but when you go into that 2x look at the shoulder and clothing of the woman is just so sharpened that

the edges have a halo effect I’m sure this can be easily fixed to a software update though Samsung is known to push out updates after launch so I hope

this is fixed very soon colour replication of certain hues can be totally different in this concert scenario the iPhone was the more accurate one the Reds are still captured

better by the iPhone as well but it does go back and forth so it depends on the scenario this is definitely not one-sided there were a lot of times

where the no 10 plus camera looked better as well and the over sharpening is not always bad in certain photos because it really brings out the details when it

comes to 4k nighttime video they both do well but the same characteristics are here the note has a brighter overall video button sacrifice for overexposure and clipping look at

this area this is handled much better by the iPhone and also the crop is heavier on the note 10 plus where the iPhone remains a little bit whiter this

is definitely a tough one if I could call this a tie I would because each of these cameras have their strong suits and weak points I think it will

come down to preference generally speaking if you like the brighter picture with more vibrancy and sharpness you’re going to love the note I’m surprised though how well the iPhone

kept up here people always hate on the iPhone for being behind the times but it still remains a benchmark for balanced photography even though the feature set isn’t as

heavy if I had to pick one camera though and take only one camera with me I would choose the no 10 plus because of that incredible wide-angle camera once

you have it it’s impossible to go back especially with this type of quality and the ability to shoot video with it little minor things like the wider front facing

camera the different modes and all those features the note hands-down has more versatility but regardless of which one that you buy you’ll definitely be happy let me know which

one that you picked as the winner in the comment section below

Review Oculus Quest Changed My Mind about VR

the smartphone we all know what happened to those they pretty much failed after using the oculus quest this product changed my mind about how I look at VR let
I share with you the reasons why I think the oculus quest changes the game for VR for the masses first everything you need is in the box there’s no
need to buy anything else you get the controller’s you get the power cable the manual so when you buy this as a gift or for yourself there’s nothing else
that you need to buy to make this work there are additional accessories that you can buy like this travel case here if you want to take the system with
you since this is portable and cable-free but I love that everything that you need is in the box already second is just how easy this thing is
to use here’s what the headset looks like there are no sensors to set up because everything is already built into the headset there’s no complicated setup process no phone to
put in here you just get started right away it’s compact it’s not too heavy it’s comfortable – since this has nice cushioning if the gaming sessions get a
little crazy you can get a little bit of a sweat build up in here but that’s expected but it’s really easy to clean when you put it on for
the first time the tutorial steps you through the setup process and all you have to do is set up your Guardian boundary it couldn’t be easier you just draw
the virtual space it uses the cameras built into the front to show you your reality and virtual space so when you step out of this boundary it will automatically
switch to show you your room so don’t worry about running into a wall or a table I don’t have a huge space in here but you do get
used to this fast the controllers are also comfortable nice grip on them this magnetic battery cover can move on you a little bit in the beginning but after a
few plays you’ll get used to the grip I’m gonna suggest right now that you always use the safety strap when handling the controller because some of these games you’re
gonna get into this it’s immersive you’re gonna be swinging everywhere and you don’t want this thing to come flying out of your hand and go into a
TV or something you know what I’m saying not saying that I’ve done that next is the experience the virtual room is nice the interface is really easy to
use I like the fact that you can do more than gaming on here you can catch up on your Netflix shows if you want to YouTube is also here
and the viewing experience and resolution on the headset is also nice to do this with there are built-in speakers in the headset with positional audio this is nice for
gaming if you still want to hear what’s going on around you or if you’re playing with a large group it’s also nice to be able to share your screen
to a smartphone or a TV so others can see you play it makes for a fun and interactive experience and you can also screen record that’s what you’re seeing
now but when it comes to watching shows I prefer using the 3.5-millimeter headphone jack that’s built-in to give me that more immersive experience so this is a gaming
headset after all and if the gaming experience isn’t good then it’s not worth it right so let me tell you that the gaming experience is awesome on this real-time
room tracking and virtual tracking is great my mind was blown how well this worked the tracking and responsiveness is one of the major strong suits of the
oculus quest you will not be disappointed at all I got to try out some games my favorites were beat Sabre where you have to slash these blocks on the beat
and slash the right way to get points this one will make you sweat it’s almost a workout it’s a great mixture of gameplay and music I think a lot
of people will enjoy this game I also liked sport scramble this is a more lighthearted title with Virtua Tennis which I enjoyed I can see this being awesome in
multiplayer there is also baseball where I enjoy striking out way too much and there is the bowling which is always fun and competitive I spent way too much time on
this game trying to get better superhot is one of the coolest games that I’ve played on VR is challenging because these glass people only move when you move but
once you get used to it is so fun maneuvering and shooting and timing everything perfectly I enjoyed this one it’s a perfect example of what VR can
do and Robo recall is just a classic first-person shooter it’s not as complicated as super hot but it’s still fun nevertheless
