Pixel 3a vs Pixel 3a XL vs Pixel 3:

I’ve been using the one plus 7 pro camera for about two weeks now so I want to share with you my real-world experience with this camera after two weeks and

I think the triple camera system is a nice upgrade from the one plus 60 because now you get that standard field of view the ultra-wide-angle field of view and

then you also get that three times optical zoom so I want to talk about the things that I was impressed with some things that I hope to see fixed

with future software updates and give you some real-world pictures and video from the one plus 7 pro camera so you know what to expect when you pick one up the

the first trip that I took this phone to was Google i/o it was my first i/o so I was excited couldn’t wait to test the camera so I was

taking a ton of pictures after looking over a ton of the shots from the main sensor which is 48 megapixels with F 1.6 aperture these are going to give

you the best results I would say this is the strongest part of the triple camera system, by the way, all the shots that I’m going to show you in

this video is shot on full auto mode completely untouched and straight out of the camera but there is a pro mode so you can tweak whatever values that you

would like to get the best shot and also there is raw capability so you can have the ultimate flexibility in post-production in bright day scenarios like any other flagship

phone the images are nice and full of detail there is one thing that I did notice that even with Auto HDR on is that the colors are very natural

and more on the flatter side of things I did a full comparison with the galaxy s 10 plus and that phone has a scene optimizer where it boosts saturation

and contrast depending on the scene so I don’t blame people for liking a more ready to share pictures right out of the camera but I’ve become a person that

likes to edit the photos a little bit afterward so the flatter colors are my preference but this is personal preference on what type of processing that you like

here are some shots from the Golden Gate Bridge you can see exactly how far SAFF was with this ultra-wide you can get that grand scheme of things with

this lens I think the ultra-wide is the most useful smartphone lens that you can have on the back of your camera you can at me if you want

to I think it should be on every smartphone it’s just that great I use it throughout IO San Francisco and in New York City during the launch of

this phone I had so much fun just going around taking shots of buildings it just lets you capture a different perspective the ultra-wide on the 1 plus 7

pro is not as wide as the one that’s on the galaxy s 10 plus that still wins for the widest field of view but it’s a welcome addition and

I think you’ll love it the one big downside for me is that you can’t record video with the ultra-wide camera I’m sure that can be added later on

but at launch you can’t do this so I just wanted to let you know you know I can’t do anything camera without going to Disney I took some wide-angle

shots here too to capture the park so having that field of view is great when you’re on vacation and it’s also a really good way of testing the

3x zoom it’s 8 megapixels and there are some pictures that you can get with the 3x zoom that you can’t get with the 2x zoom so I did

enjoy this but I did wish it was higher in resolution for a little bit more detail these shots aren’t bad by any means but it could use a little

bit more resolution maybe a 12 or 16 megapixel, for the most part, I’ve gotten really good results but there are some mixed opinions online especially with your favorite reviewers

so I want to clear some things up and talk about some of the things that I think that they can improve with future software updates after looking at a

a lot of these pictures I would like to see better edge to edge sharpness I’m noticing that in some of the corners there seem to be some softening and I

would like to see improvements in the focusing as well on subjects I feel like this also falls into the personal preference category because if you do look at images

side by side with something like the galaxy s 10 plus

it does look a lot sharper right out of the camera you can just add sharpness in the post to the 1 plus 7 Prost camera and make it look very

similar but I think some people would prefer the sharpness to come right out of the camera so I’m sure this can be easily fixed with a software update I’ve

taken hundreds of photos so I know this camera is extremely capable because some shots come out sharp and detailed so you can see here that some of these

images are stunning while some have some issues with uniformity so I would like to see a more consistent photo experience across different lighting conditions sometimes you get this

the rich contrasted and very colorful image just like this one and then sometimes you get a more washed image so that’s what I think other viewers were complaining about here

are a few more examples of where I think it could benefit from more contrast and where exposure could be better controlled but one plus has done this in the past

they usually push a few large software updates that improve the camera quality that helps a lot in the life cycle of the one plus devices so I’ll be updating this

video as soon as major ones are released so we can go back and revisit the camera there is one advantage of that softer look that this camera produces and

that is in the portrait mode I like the soft textures it gives off I think it gives it a more DSLR like look and even in low-light I

think the portrait mode does a decent job that 3x in portrait mode is cropped though so you’ll have to stand back pretty far to get these type of

shots and they’ll have to be pretty still or it can get blurry but my kids aren’t the best subjects because they can’t stay still for more than a few

seconds so I want to talk about some of the things that I was impressed with the one plus 7 pros and the first is the video capability the

4k 60 frames per second look stunning from the phone and I was shocked at this concert and how great it captured the scene there were no fluctuations in

exposure no ghosting no crazy light bleeding and this is just pure auto after looking back at it I was shocked really good noise reduction I know a lot

of you asked for a more realistic audio sample like loud concerts so here you go here is what the mic capture sounds like I saw a few comments on

my last video talking about some of the other reviewers pointing out the fun colors that might be coming off the 1 plus 7 Pro video and there’s a pretty

a good explanation for that so the 1 plus 7 Pro shoots in HDR which is REC 2020 colors so that’s not converted off the bat so in some scenarios you’re

gonna get oversaturated skin and exaggerated colors so if you convert this video to rec 709 color which is what most displays are capable of playing then

the colors look fantastic they’re balanced they’re more neutral so I am NOT saying that an average consumer should do this at all I would love to see one Plus

make it toggle for this somehow and give you a choice of rec.709 colors also I was pretty shocked by the low-light performance of the 1 7 Pro with the

a sensor having 48 megapixels and scaling them down to 12 megapixels I was impressed with the noise reduction and the color replication you get a nice balance shot I think

it does well even against black ships like the galaxy s 10 red is one of the tougher colors to capture on smartphones and the one plus does a great

the job you can see all of this in my s10 vs 7 pro video so I will leave it linked down below the nightscape mode does capture a lot more

the detail on certain shots but in certain scenarios, handheld shots with nice scape can be hard because it takes so many exposures you can end up with some blurry ones

too so that’s something that I would like to see them improve on but low light is a nice strength on the 1 7 Pro it’s not perfect though it

could use some improvement in certain lighting conditions the noise reduction becomes a little too aggressive and it can smoothen out things especially when it comes to skin tones so

I would like to see that improved in the future the last thing I want to talk about is the pop-up selfie camera and I think the pixel 3 literally

ruined all smartphones when it comes to front-facing camera shots and selfies

ruined all smartphones when it comes to front-facing camera shots and selfies but this is the thing that I think that one-plus needs to improve on the most when it

comes to the camera here are a few examples this is not the worst front-facing camera that I have seen and is capable of taking some decent selfies but

it needs work with exposure contrast and sharpness overall I don’t shoot a lot of selfies so this doesn’t matter to me much but I know for some of

you a front-facing camera can be a deal-breaker so I hope we get an update to this very soon I want to wrap up my experience like this is this

the best camera system out there right now no but is one plus that much closer to competing with flagship cameras yes the hardware is incredible the price is fantastic

at six hundred sixty-nine dollars so when you are looking at side-by-side images with something like the more expensive Galaxy S 10 Plus yes those images are better but

how much better are they $300 plus better I’ve shared some blind camera comparisons on Twitter so you should check those out and the response is a lot closer than

you would imagine and the low-light photography is surprisingly good so not saying the one plus camera is quite a flagship killer yet but they’re going in the right direction

Galaxy S10+ vs OnePlus7 Pro Camera

what’s up everybody this is Danny and today I’m doing the battle of the triple camera systems between the brand-new one plus seven pro and the galaxy s ten plus

so the pop-up camera over here on the seventh Pro is giving me 1080p video while the S ten plus is giving me 4k so it should be looking

a little bit crispier so let me know which video looks better what stabilization looks like on both of these and what audio source you think sounds better I’m just

going to switch off in between the two so can’t wait to test both of these triple-camera systems we’ll see how the white angle does how the zoom does

how the video does in every lighting condition and let’s see if the cheaper seven pros can give the same quality as the Samsung Galaxy S ten plus let’s do

it let’s go ahead and start with the daytime pictures all of these photos in this comparison video are shot on auto mode all settings are left on by default

all untouched no edits straight out of the camera both of these phones have pro mode and brought capture so if you want the most out of these cameras both

of them can give you that flexibility if you need it both of these phones have great daytime capture both full of dynamic range and lots of

detail but there are some major differences between the two after looking at over 500 images side-by-side the galaxy SN plus has a scene optimizer built into the camera software

where it boosts contrast and saturation depending on the scene and what that gives you is a more punchy and vibrant image you can see it on photos that

include the sky and also very noticeable when taking pictures of flowers if you like a ready to share pictures right out of the camera then you will love the

galaxy s 10 plus but if you like a more natural color approach and like to edit the photos afterward you’ll probably like the 1 plus 7 pro camera better

this is all personal preference I also noticed that the galaxy s 10 plus has sharper images all across the board right out of the camera you can always add

sharpness to the images later on the 1 plus 7 Pro to get that same type of look but generally the S 10 plus creates the sharper image of course

this does go back and forth and I’ve had some images where the 1 7 Pro is sharper in some scenarios but I wouldn’t blame most for favoring the

shots from the galaxy s 10 plus let me know which processing approach that you like better when it comes to the dynamic range they do go back and forth but

the Galaxy S 10 series is known to overexpose by a stop or so and it’s also known to have some highlight clipping in the images and you can see

that they won 7 Pro does a better job with controlling highlights in the clouds most of the time but for the most part, the images are very close to

each other they both have ultra-wide cameras as a part of their triple camera systems but the galaxy s 10 plus is wider and it’s noticeable so you’ll be

able to capture more of the scene is so useful having this ultra-wide on both of these phones but I think Samsung has the best ultra-wide on

the market right now the s10 plus has a 2 X optical zoom and the 1 plus 7 Pro has a 3x optical zoom and this is also preference but

that 3x zoom gives you that extra reach especially when you’re at a theme park this helps a ton so if you want some extra zoom the 1 plus is

for you now the galaxy s 10 plus does have a higher megapixel zoom sensor at 12 megapixels so that is a bonus where the 1 7 Pro has an

8 megapixel so I wish it was a little bit higher in resolution for more detail they both have portrait mode but there are some differences on how these images

are shot the s 10 plus shoots portrait mode with the wide-angle lens so you do have the flexibility to shoot without a forced crop so it is more flexible

but I do like the way that they one pluses images come out with that zoom focal length there’s a more natural depth of field I love the skin tones on

the 1 7 Pro and I feel like it has a more DSLR like look when it comes to a video they both shoot up to 4k 60 frames per second

which is nice they both have fantastic looking video full

of dynamic range and details, you’ll notice that the colors on the 1 7 Pro look very saturated because the video is being exported in rec 2020 or HDR color

space if you convert this video to rec 709 the colors look fantastic and have a great natural look but that’s a post-production step that most people won’t know-how

to do so the Samsung has a better approach for the consumer now I do think the dynamic range and exposure changes are handled by the one plus in certain scenarios

but they are both fantastic for video both are very steady when walking and recording 4k video both have optical image stabilization in both of the telephoto and main lenses

I think you’ll be happy with either of these I was shocked on how good the one plus 7 pros fared with the legendary super steady mode for stabilization I

had my son run around and I was chasing him and while the s10 Plus looks slightly smoother the one plus 7 pros did fantastic and in 4k you can shoot

4k video with both of these phones with their zoom lenses which is nice if you need to record video from farther away but the advantage that the galaxy s

10 plus has is that you can record 4k video with the ultra-wide camera where with the 1 7 Pro you cannot at this time I can’t forget about

all the selfie lovers out there the one plus 7 pros has a 16-megapixel pop-up camera while the S 10 plus has a 10-megapixel camera along with an 8

the megapixel camera just to capture depth the galaxy s 10 plus is a front-facing camera is generally much sharper most of the time it captures the better color they both do

a good job with portrait mode but the S 10 usually creates a better effect both can have some noisy results but I’m going to have to give it to

the S 10 Plus even at night I shot way too many comparison pictures so I’m going to show you more towards the end of the video but when it

comes to daytime shots I’m going to give the edge to the Gow cs10 plus let’s get into what everyone loves and that is the low-light performance this is where

I feel like the momentum changes for the 1 plus 7 Pro the S 10 plus does capture more shadow and highlight detail but does introduce more noise into the

shot most of the time on auto so generally, the s 10 plus captures more detail on the shot but I prefer the noise reduction on the 1 7 Pro

there is a nice gape mode on the 1 plus where it captures more detail by taking multiple exposures and when it works it works well but I found

this mode to be inconsistent with blurring and since I have the Snapdragon model of the S 10 plus I don’t have the dedicated night mode but on auto with

scene detection it triggers the night mode so all these shots were taken with that mode triggered the red color reproduction is much better on the one plus this is generally

one of the harder colors to land when it comes to night time on mobile sensors the Galaxy S 10 plus tends to land on the warmer side of white

the balance on most of his shots where the one plus usually lands cool and this is also personal preference so let me know which one do you think looks better I

think the one plus 7 pro is more consistent with overall exposure and producing the better photos and of course like any other camera comparison the S 10 takes some better

photos depending on the scene and it does go back and forth but let me know what you think in the comments below I’m curious to see what people think

when it comes to nighttime video the one plus captures more detail but the Samsung does have more contrast and boosted colors right out of the camera I prefer the

one plus at nighttime on video but this could also land on the side of personal preference that is a lot of information to go through but to sum things up

here is a quick recap I think the galaxy s 10 plus has sharper daytime photos with a better ultra-wide camera I think the video can go either way

both great captures and I think the night time in low-light gets an edge to the oneplus 7 pros so if I had to pick just one camera though

I would pick the S 10 Plus overall it is a better performer especially with the front-facing camera as well the thing to take away is that the one plus 7

pro has been getting a lot of hate on its camera and if you look at the images side-by-side they are not wildly different from one of the best cameras

out on the market right now so this is a huge leap for one plus because they are closer than ever to pumping out a flagship camera I’m hoping that a

few camera patches can fix some of these inconsistencies and this test makes me very hopeful for one plus devices in the future let me know which one you think is

better let’s be nice in the comments this is just tech, after all, I love doing these comparisons so if you want to see more hit that like button and

subscribe to the channel let me know which camera you would like to see compared with the 1 plus 7 pros

My Smart Blinds! Best Smart Home Tech

what’s up everybody this is Danny and today I want to show you an essential upgrade to your smart home hey Google open studio blinds alright let’s get my smart blinds

ok opening for blinds in the office this is not the first time that my smart blinds have shown up on a channel I feature them in my ultimate smart bedroom

a tour that I did over a year ago and I got a lot of questions about them so I partnered with them to show you how I’m using them in

my new studio space and also I want to give you a chance to try it out for yourself so stick around into the end of the video to find

out how my smart blinds have a few ways to step up your smart home they have an automation kit which can turn your existing two to two and a

half inch blind smart which is the approach that I went or you can buy blinds from them directly that custom-fit your window frame no need to visit a

showroom just put your measurements in and they ship them to you with this Hardware built into it since I already have blinds installed I went the automation kit route

so that’s what I’m gonna focus on and I’m going to leave a link down below for you to check out all of their lineups and I’ll leave a special

coupon code there, so you can save yourself some money when you pick some up the automation kit, comes with everything you need it comes with the user manual the

3000 milliamp hour rechargeable battery the manual switch and also the motor and an accessory box that you will need later for install it also comes with the solar panels

so you don’t have to worry about charging it and there are some optional accessories here that I use to like the switch and the hub which I’ll talk about a

a little bit later I thought about including the installation process but I thought that was unnecessary because my smart blinds they already have great tutorials on their YouTube channels

so check that out if you want to know how to install these but it’s really easy basically what you’re doing is removing the rod depending on what type of

the line you have taken the old tilt mechanism outputting the new manual switch in then you place the battery then you place the motor in you find the bright

rod adapter plugging everything up including the solar panel and placing it back up I install four of these in the office and by the fourth one I was doing

it in about five minutes no joke next is just downloading my smart blinds app for iOS or Android pull that hook once and the pairing process is

that simple the app will show you how many blinds are found so you can do this all at once if you like after you install multiple blinds it’ll ask

you to calibrate one time to set it to the desired open and close position and that is it and now with one tap with your smartphone you can open

and close your new automated blinds, of course, you can manually control your blinds at any time with this slider here on the right-hand side and you can group

them too to control them all at once you have these installed you can forget about the process of just opening and closing your blinds and I know

there’s gonna be a lot of you out there saying well I can just open my blinds and I don’t have to spend any money and that is true

you can do that but even in this office I have four of them and having them all open and all closed at the same time with just one

touch of a button or by voice control is convenient but that’s not it the app also does some cool things there are a few features in the app

that makes a ton of sense like scheduling so basically for me I want my blinds to open in the morning and I want them to be closed before I

go to sleep so I can do that right here in the app and not even think about it throughout the day or there’s even a more intuitive way that

you can use that tracks the Sun so no matter the season change you can have the blinds gradually tilt as the Sun goes up and down another cool feature

Gift Guide Edition (2019) Ultimate Smart Home

what’s up everybody this is Danny and welcome to another episode of ultimate smart home and I’ve partnered with Amazon today to give you a sneak peek of my brand

new smart home setup and also to do a fun little gift guide I’m gonna be hitting every price point so you’re gonna find something that you love especially

for Father’s Day so everything that I show you today and more will be in one convenient amazon link down below and then you’re gonna be able to browse all

my suggestions and find something perfect to build your ultimate smart home so let’s go ahead and get started first let’s start with the echo dot and don’t let this

small size fool you this thing is extremely powerful and this can run your entire smart home the reason to pick up a third-generation is that it has better speakers

it has better microphone placement and this thing is pretty discreet you can put this anywhere you can even wall-mount it with some cheap wall mounts as I do

throughout my house so this thing is very versatile what makes this powerful is how it can link all of these items that I’m going to show you today

together with over 50,000 plus Alexa skills and the daily routines that you can make with this so I have a good morning routine so when I say good morning

then it turns on my bedside lamp for me it changes my smart thermostat temperature it turns on all of my lights downstairs for me and also opens up my

blinds in my office so I can go ahead and start early so all of that in one command it’s really powerful and convenient all of that can easily be

done in the Alexa app it’s fast it’s easy to set up its great smart lighting is essential to any smart home so if you want a flexible and affordable

LED they have different packages for different needs this four-pack comes with a hub and it’s really easy to set up just plug it into your router and

the app steps you through the rest you can control your lights through the app from anywhere in the world but just like you saw you can add voice control

with Alexa and control the lights and place them in routines my favorite is turning off all the lights at night with just one command by just saying goodnight it’s

a pain to go downstairs and turn off every single light in your house so with one command you can just turn off all your lights and that’s so convenient

and it’s just real-world stuff that you can use every day and once you have it you can’t live without it the Amazon smart plug can be a great

companion to smart lighting because sometimes with designer lamps like this you can’t put a smart bulb up here because it just doesn’t look as good but if you have

this lamp connected to the Amazon smart plug then you can make it smart let’s go turn on master bedroom lamp once again it’s a breeze to set up with

the Alexa app you can control it through there or if you want there’s a physical switch on the side to turn it on and off these are so convenient

to have throughout the house I’m sure you’ll be buying more than the one you can make anything smart that plugs into the wall so you can have this plugged

into your coffee machine in the morning as a part of your good morning routine to start brewing coffee right away when you first wake up you can control Christmas

trees with it multiple lamps you can even control popcorn machines all kinds of stuff with this so these are super convenient to have I love them I have the

same smart plug behind my Media Console so I can control it by a voice which is awesome the one thing that I love in my living room that

I’ve been using for a long time is the Sonos beam and this is a smart TV soundbar it’s nice and compact and it fits in pretty much any

Media Console so that’s why I love it but don’t let that small size fool you because the sound is fantastic I have a big living room and the sound

is filled in here and it sounds great so take my word for it you won’t be disappointed it is super simple to set up just the power cord

and one HDMI cord that has Audio Return Channel so that’s pretty much it

and the Sonos app just steps you to the rest why I think this is a good deal his number one it sounds so much better than their built-in TV

speakers and number two it’s a great way to listen to your music so it has Amazon Alexa built-in which is another bonus so you can stream your favorite music

and playlists just by voice for some reason if you do need more sound it is expandable so you can add a sonal sub or you can add other sonal

speakers you can do that right through the app so it’s a nice ecosystem I have this cool routine set up for entertainment it’s called movie time so when

I say it turns off my kitchen lights turns off my living room lights but just leaves the ambient lighting here for that perfect mood for the movie and

I even have a smart plug into a popcorn machine over there so it starts popping popcorn and then it locks my door so I don’t have to worry

about it, so all of that in just one voice command it’s so powerful it’s cool that’s a smart lock that you saw is the August smart lock pro plus Kinect

and the reason why I suggest this to people is that you can use your existing key because you only have to change out the inside of your lock so

you can have all of this smart functionality and people won’t know it from the outside so you’ll need about ten minutes in a screwdriver easy to install this

the smart lock has all the features that you’ll ever need of course control the lock from anywhere in the world you give keyless access through the app give access to

family members and keep track of who’s going in and out with the log of activity there’s a cool feature where it unlocks a door for you when you approach

so that is great so if you have groceries or if you’re carrying a big package in your arms this is convenient and also automatically locks the door behind

you as soon as you enter so that’s great for safety and you can lock and unlock the door by voice command with Amazon Alexa and you might think that’s

impractical but just going to bed upstairs and not knowing if the doors are locked down here you can just go ahead and ask Alexa if it’s not locked then

you can go ahead and lock it by voice so I think that’s a great feature for safety is sweet if you act quick Amazon is running a special promotion

right now where you get a discount on the lock and free expert setup this is valued at three hundred and seventy-five dollars and it’s available for two hundred

and fifteen dollars right now so go and hit that link and pick one up before it’s gone okay so the last thing that I want to show you are

a little bit different the person that’s helping me shoot right now John he’s away from his dog and he loves tech so if that person sounds familiar this is

gonna be good for you so this is the furball Wi-Fi pet camera and what John can do right now even though he’s away from his dog he can

check on his dog at any time with this big wide-angle HD camera and there’s bark detection there so if something is going at the house he’s gonna get a

notification to see what all the fuss is about and then he can calm down his dog if he wants to and one of the coolest things is that you

can also flick a treat and give the treat to the dog while you’re gone you can schedule this or the coolest thing is you can do this with

Alexa integration and just do it by voice command and what’s cool is that verbo is not a bad-looking product whatsoever because I think it fits in nicely with

the home decor two-way talk on here this is a really good way to get connected or stay connected with your pet while you’re out working I know a lot

of people I work and miss their dogs so, this thing is pretty cool so I hope you enjoyed that little tour and also a great gift guide for Father’s

Day, of course, it can be applied to any situation some great products there so let me know which one that you like best in the comment section below all

of these products that integrate smoothly with the Amazon echo dot and work great with the Amazon, Alexa ecosystem can be found all in one convenient link all my suggestions

will be there too as well so it’s gonna make it easy for you if you want to pick any just stuff up so thank you for watching another

the episode of ultimate smart home make sure you hit that playlist for more smart home goodness and I will see you guys in the next one

Nokia 9 PureView Camera Test after 3 Months

what’s up everybody this is Danny and today I’ve teamed up with hmd global to share with you my three-month experience with the Nokia 9p review I’ve been getting a

a lot of requests to take a look at this camera especially after the updates I’ve been using it on and off since launch so let’s talk about what makes these

five cameras on the back so special but also let’s talk about some of the things that I want to see improved in the future for this camera tech moving

forward it’s an odd-looking array of cameras on the back but I love that blue color it’s got a nice build all around with metal and glass a 5.9 nine

inch high resolution 1440 by 2880 OLED display also a 3220 milliamp-hour battery and depending on how many pictures you take in a day it should last you through

the entire day it’s also got an in-display fingerprint scanner which got better with the update a clean build of Android which recently got updated to Android 9pi which

I love no bloat here this is an Android one phone and it’s also got a 20-megapixel front-facing camera that takes some decent selfies but the real reason that

you would consider this phone is this crazy camera setup here on the back this is not traditional in the sense where most phones today you would see a telephoto

and maybe an ultra-wide sensor all of these lenses here are 12 megapixels with F 1.8 aperture there are two monochrome and to RGB sensors and that time-of-flight 3d

camera for more accurate depth information what’s incredible is when you hit that shutter button all five cameras capture simultaneously and I think that’s a world’s first and in theory

this should give you some of the most detailed pictures since all of these images are combined giving you up to twelve points four stops of dynamic range and also

there’s no need for an HDR mode because every shot is HDR if you just take one look at the back of this phone then you know that this was

built for photography enthusiasts and even when you first start up the phone it suggests that you download a raw editor if you want to take the best pictures

that this phone can take then go into the settings and enable Raw because this is where this camera shines the JPEGs have improved quite a bit since the recent

updates they’re usable for sure but when you capture the photo they will catch raw and the JPEG at the same time so if you don’t know what a RAW

images it is an uncompressed version of that capture giving you all of the details and information so you do need to learn how to adjust it I love

Snapseed so that’s what I use you can get back all of the highlights add more shadow detail adjust the color and saturation to your liking and add more contrast

you can get a great looking photo after this and here are a few examples of what I’ve edited I am no professional when it comes to editing raw

photos but the images look great and what I like is that the JPEGs tend to be a little bit over sharpened it’s a little bit too sharp for

my taste but with raw and you get a nice blank canvas so you can add back the sharpness to your liking so there are clear advantages for raw capture

also, another advantage for raw on the Nokia 9 peer view is the noise reduction the JPEGs look decent too with nice colors and accurate white balance but the noise

the level is higher with the JPEGs where the raw has almost zero noise in the shot so low-light photography, for the most part, impressed me on the Nokia 9

peer view all of these cameras snapping at once on the raw images does create a nice image for tuning after the capture at night a lot of times it’s

backward where the raw has a little bit more noise and you have to adjust the noise out of it but this time it’s a little bit different also I’m

into monochrome or black-and-white photography and with the true monochrome lenses you can get some super detailed images with incredible contrast I know you can apply a filter to get

the black-and-white look but if you’re into this is a great bonus there’s also a depth mode that you can enable that allows shots to add depth information

to any shot that you take you can use portrait mode if you want to but leaving this on will capture depth for every photo so leaving this on it

will capture the depth information the raw and the JPEG at the same time with the co imaging processor that’s in the Nokia 9p review while this mode is not

perfect I’ve had some pictures where it still messes up some edges but when this mode hits it hits and Nokia says that it captures over 1200 layers of

a depth so you can refocus after the shot and then you can go into the depth slider and create as much ground separation as you want I even shot this

bird from really far away and even though it missed in between the fence I thought it was really impressive that it was able to capture the information necessary to

separate the bird from the background so you combine all of this with the promo to adjust to whatever settings that you want and you have one of the

most powerful cameras on a mobile phone today but the Nokia denies strongest feature can be its greatest enemy because in my three months of usage my issue is not

what the photography but how long it takes to process after I take the photo depending on how many pictures that you take back-to-back you will have to wait on

the processing to even preview that picture and it ties up the Snapdragon 845 processor and drains the battery life so that’s why I explained earlier what this camera

does because once you understand how much information that this camera is capturing at the same time that you can understand why this is happening Nokia did a great job

by really squeezing every bit of computing architecture from the snapdragon 845 and work very closely with Qualcomm to maximize the isp DSP CPU and GPU to optimize this chipset

to its maximum potential I can’t wait to see what this type of camera tech can do with the Snapdragon 805 and beyond since those processors are more powerful and

perfect for this type of application once this tech goes into a more capable processing system and maybe combine that with us 3.0 storage for faster loading times of raw

images it would be more compelling than what it is now and especially if they added maybe a wide-angle to the mix that could get interesting while I feel

like this camera system is not for the average smartphone user that just wants to snap a picture on auto and have it ready to share I feel like the

photo enthusiasts like myself have something to be excited about with this tech it can only get better from here so I hope to see a Nokia 10 peer view

or whatever they call it next with also the average user in mind as well then I feel like it can be a more mass adopted phone but I’ll keep

using this especially with some software updates that are coming down the road because software updates can help some of the things that I was talking about so if things

majorly change then out visit this phone and make another video so I can inform you what’s going on with the Nokia 90 review so let me know what do

you think about the Nokia 90 review are you interested in this phone and this camera setup or would you just rather have a traditional dual or triple camera setup

with the wide and telephoto option let me know what you think if you have any questions leave the questions in the comments section below and I’ll do my best

to answer them subscribe for more videos like this thumbs up if you enjoyed it and I will see you in the next one

Best Smart Home Tech Under $100

what’s up everybody this is Danny and welcome back to another episode of ultimate smart home and today I want to focus on budget smart home lighting and if you
caught my last tour I showed you this starter kit for a Gift Guide and a lot of people have been asking me about it so I’ve partnered with San
glad to show you how I have my lights set up here in the new office and this is not quite done yet and there’s gonna be some changes but
I think it’s okay to give you a little sneak peek there are a lot of smart bulbs on the market right now it can be overwhelming and confusing and
most of the popular brands are pretty expensive so I think that’s the biggest barrier for people trying to start their smart homes but I think’s Anglet is hitting that
perfect sweet spot especially if you don’t want to use a hub you could grab these it’s good either way but in my experience with smart bulbs using a hub
actually makes experience a little bit more reliable it’s super easy to set up in this angle at home app these hubs come with these kits and you’ll more than
likely only need one hub because you can connect over 60 lights I believe just add lights in the app a QR code scan is all you need just rename
and group them and you’ll have control over all of these connected lights right from the app from anywhere in the world I have a br 30 multicolor bulb in
my lamp behind the TV setup I have a multicolored lights trip and my ceiling lights are a 90 multi color in my bathroom I have the white version connected
so I can see all of that in my app I can turn them on and off I can dim them all the way to 10 percent I have full
control over the possible 16 million colors and all of the color temperatures so I can customize to any vibe I have a gaming mode set up through the app
so I can do a little bit of an RGB look when I’m gaming but right now I have just the daylight look for that fresh and clean look so
for me to demonstrate this let me go ahead and close the blinds first hey close office blinds sure getting my smart lines okay closing for blinds in office so
let me go ahead and show you that game mode I have it right here on my single at home app all I have to do is just hit one
button and boom RGB just like that when I’m ready to play games but I don’t have to use my phone I can just use a voice assistant I have
everything hooked up through Google assistant in here but you can use Amazon Alexa there’s support for that too so let’s say that I want to change colors well go
get change office lights to white change office lights to blue change office lights to red turn off off his lights just like that it’s super quick really easy so
I just find myself just doing it through a voice assistant being able to control all my lighting in here just by voice is so convenient but putting it into
routines and automation even better so when I’m done working in here or playing games watching a movie or whatever when I leave this office I can put everything into
one goodnight command so it will turn off all of my lights in here change the temperature on my thermostat go ahead and close all of my blinds in here
I love that when I travel I can set up schedules for these lights to come on at certain times to make it look like I’m home or if I
just totally forget to turn off the lights or don’t say the goodnight command before I fall asleep and then I have a schedule for midnight every night to turn
off so I can save energy the app is really simple and easy to use it’s not too complicated with too many features that you probably won’t use they do
have scenes that you can add so I have my gaming and my daylight scenes on here with one touch I can change it up I would recommend picking up
one of these starter kits I like the multicolor myself but they do have white if that’s your preference the kits come with the hub and adding on extra bulbs
or cheap so hit that link below for updated pricing I think you’ll be surprised on how affordable it is so if you’re not trying to break the bank and
you want some smart-home lighting then gives sangla to try as promised here’s a little sneak peek at the new office this media setup video is coming soon it’s the
new 65 inch 2019 LG OLED c9 paired with the new LG sound bar there’s a BD Iola media cabinet that I still love I’ve had this for years and
I still think it’s the perfect modern central piece for this room there’s tons of gaming there too with all of the major consoles I’m sure that there’s a lot
of you out there curious about the shoe wall yes I am heavily into sneakers these rotate per season so for the backdrops o
